The result of the study shown that the historical-political background the characters’ countries own influence the motive and the strategies of racism they use. ![]() Using the theory of discourse-historical approach to racism, this study aims to see the motive and the discursive strategies used by the characters of a TV series Mind Your Language. As a result, the practice of racism is done not only through social, but also political, economic, education, media and so forth. ![]() Racism not only deals with race and biological, but also culture, ideology and many other aspects. Racism becomes one of every day’s talks in human interaction.
